The Equality Walk 2016

Take a step to make a stand

On Sunday 8 May hundreds of people joined together in Brighton for Stonewall’s Equality Walk

It was a fantastic day of fun in the sun and we’re so grateful to everyone who came down to help make the day so special.

Together the Equality Walk raised almost £35,000 to send even more role models into schools to inspire young people

Every year, thousands of lesbian, gay, bi and trans young people grow up feeling isolated and alone just because of who they are. Thanks to everyone who walked we will be able to send even more LGBT role models to visit schools across the UK to share their personal stories with thousands of students and teachers.
