London Pride Run supports Stonewall

Saturday 16th August 2008 saw the annual London Pride Run take place at the Victoria Park, Hackney in London.

And this year we are delighted to announce that the money raised by the London Pride Run will support the work of Stonewall. Now in its 5th year the run has become one of the UK’s major gay and lesbian sports events. This certified 10k was completely sold out and almost 600 runners took part on the day. Erasure star, Andy Bell, was on hand to launch the run as participants of all abilities took part in this fantastic race with supporters on-hand to shout their encouragement as runners progressed along the route. It was a fantastic day and all the money raised will go towards the work Stonewall does including our Workplace Programme and our Education for All campaign which tackles homophobic bullying in schools.

Since January 2007 London Frontrunners have raised a staggering £5200 for Stonewall!

The London Pride Run 10K is a race for everyone, regardless of age, ability, gender or sexuality.
