Like you, Stonewall welcomed the sentencing passed on those responsible for Jody Debrowski’s brutal murder in June 2006.
Stonewall wants to see a Britain in which incitement to homophobic hate crime is illegal. The 2007 Brighton Equality Walk raised £40,000
to support our ongoing work, including our campaign for new legislation - the introduction of the offence of incitement to hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation.
Ben Summerskill said, "We're enormously grateful to all those who took part and helped raise this incredible sum. This will enable us to do even more to help improve the lives of lesbians, gay men and bisexual people across Britain."
