Stonewall Cymru attend a wide range of events including Mardi Gras, Urdd Eisteddfod, National Eisteddfod, and Freshers fayres. As an outreacher you will come along with us to events and help us to increase awareness of Stonewall Cymru and the campaigns that we are running. This is a great opportunity for you to meet new people and do something worthwhile at the same time.
You needn't know the ins and outs of our campaigns - we will provide you with all of the training you need. All we look for are friendly, helpful, enthusiastic people that are passionate about equality and human rights.
You can volunteer as little or as much as you like. Ideally we would ask all volunteers to give a few hours each month.
We'll make sure you're kitted out with all the bits and pieces you'll need to help draw in the crowds and get people interested including badges, banners and t-shirts.
We will cover reasonable travel and refreshment expenses.
