There are a number of ways you can get involved with Look Out.
We want you to let us know about articles and programmes in the Welsh media, in English or Welsh, that you considered biased, homophobic or sensationalist, and tell us why you were offended. We also want to hear about positive coverage that brought a smile to your face.
We want to find out if LGB people in Wales are represented fairly in the media and what you, as an individual, find acceptable, or not. Then we can start to change things for the better.
We cannot promise to respond personally to all your concerns but we do encourage you to get in touch with the media directly. Click here for advice on contacting the media.

We often are being asked by the media for a 'real person' to interview to give their stories a wider appeal to their audience. As a result, we need a team of media contacts who we can call on to talk to the media. This may take the form of telephone interviews, live or pre-recorded radio/TV and articles in the press, with or without photographs. Often these can be done anonymously.
We will act as an intermediary between you and the media. We do not give your contact details without contacting you first about the media enquiry to ask you if you are willing to speak on the particular topic in question.
Often lesbian, gay and bisexual people are invisible in some media reporting so your 'voice' will play a vital role in influencing the media and public opinion about LGB issues. Perhaps you want to speak out about the bullying you experienced in work or at school; or perhaps you are planning your Civil Partnership and you want to tell people how important this day is for you. Your presence in the media can make a difference.
If you have never dealt with the media before, or if you feel you need to brush up on your media skills, we may be able to offer you training in preparation for any media contact. We can also provide you with a briefing note and background information on the topic area, the context of the story and the likely 'treatment' by the media.
