Landmark Welsh legislation for Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual equality

Stonewall Cymru today welcomes the decision of the Welsh Assembly to pass landmark legislation in the Specific Public Sector Duties for Wales under the Equality Act 2010.

Andrew White, Director of Stonewall Cymru said “These new duties will make a difference to the thousands of lesbian, gay and bisexual people across Wales.”

“The fact that the Duties were passed unanimously sends a really positive message, that Wales gets equality and were serious about it!”
