Since joining Stonewall Cymru’s Diversity Champions Programme in 2012, Barclays have increased efforts to engage staff based in Wales in their Diversity and Inclusion work.

2013 saw the launch of the Welsh chapter of Barclays’ LGBT staff network ‘Spectrum’, providing Welsh staff with better links to the wider Spectrum network, and increased networking and development.

"As the Global Lead for Barclays Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) agenda, I am dedicated to ensuring Barclays is the ‘Go-To’ bank for customers, clients and colleagues of all backgrounds. Our recognition as being Stonewall Cymru’s ‘Top Private Sector Employer’ 2014 affirms the progress we are continuing to make in supporting
and engaging the LGBT community.

Barclays has had a long-standing partnership with Stonewall across the UK, and this award pays testament to Barclays’ growing presence in Wales and the vital work and support provided by our Spectrum Diversity Network for the LGBT community."
