Stonewall, and hundreds of leading employers across the UK, understand that people perform better when they can be themselves and at Stonewall, we know exactly how important role models are to our sense of self. This one day programme, for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender staff at all levels in an organisation, is designed to help you think about what it means to be authentic in the workplace and how you can be a more effective role model.
To promote increased visibility of LGBT role models, seen to take an active role as change agents in the workplace
Despite the confidence of some prominent lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender business leaders and public servants in being open about their sexual orientation or gender identity, LGBT people remain under-represented at every level in many organisations. Numerous employers are now focusing on the career development and ambitions of their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender staff. This one day programme provides a unique opportunity to work with other lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender staff to explore these themes.
Applications for the programme are now closed. Please keep posted for further dates.
Our Workplace Conference has further opportunities to explore what it means to be authentic at work. Click here for more information.
The Authentic Role Models Programme can be delivered in-house to groups of 12 to 36 including LGBT staff network group members. For further information, please email email@example.com.
