Resources for tackling homophobic hate crime

Stonewall Cymru in partnership with other organisations have developed a number of useful resources for tackling homophobic hate crime:

Guide for victims of homophobic hate crime

This is a bilingual all-Wales guide for people who have experienced homophobic hate crime which gives information on how the Criminal Justice agencies respond to homophobic hate crime and steps that can be taken to stop it.

The guide was developed in partnership with North Wales Police and funded by the 4 Welsh Criminal Justice Boards.

Drinks mats campaign

This is a partnership initiative with North Wales Police to address under reporting of homophobic hate crime. The drinks mats give a clear message of zero tolerance of homophobic abuse and encourage reporting to North Wales Police.

The drinks mats will be launched at the 2009 National Eisteddfod in Bala and Merionethshire and then distributed across North Wales.
