Jenny Porter
Community Liaison Officer

Jenny Porter as Stonewall Cymru’s Community Liaison Officer works towards achieving community safety for lesbian, gay and bisexual people across Wales to live free from the experience, or fear of, discrimination or abuse for their sexual orientation. Jenny uses a multi-agency partnership approach to encourage the reporting of homophobic hate incidents to the Police, the use of support for victims and witnesses, and to increase confidence in the criminal justice system. She has three times been awarded a Certificate in recognition of outstanding commitment to diversity for work in tackling issues of homophobic hate crime by the North Wales Criminal Justice Board.

Jenny has been working as a Lesbian,Gay, Bisexual Community Officer since the Welsh Assembly Government supported the establishment of an organisation to speak up for lesbian, gay & bisexual people in Wales in 2002. Her earlier working life was in theatre and television as a Director, Stage Manager and Art Director.

Dean Lloyd
Workplace Officer

As workplace officer for Stonewall Cymru, Dean overseas the Diversity Champions Cymru programme which aids employers throughout Wales to become more diverse, inclusive and aware of LGB issues. Before joining Stonewall, Dean worked for a large utilities firm with a background in client management. He also studied English Literature in Cardiff University.
