"Christian Homophobia" – Lesbian and Gay Christian Movement 2000 This document presents evidence of homophobia within the Christian churches and provides recommendations on tackling it.  "Identifying the difficulties experienced by Muslim lesbian, bisexual and transgender women in accessing social and legal services" – SAFRA Project 2003 The report highlights the issues that Muslim LBT women face and the need for better access to appropriate social and legal services. “Homosexuality and the Bible” – Metropolitan Community Church West London This helpful guide to the most common assertions about the Biblical position on sexuality is produced by the Metropolitan Community Church. It explores some of the most frequently cited Biblical passages and offers an alternative view about the meaning. But the Bible...Difference is not a sin - Rev. Neil Dawson (lesbian and Gay Christian Movement) This online guide examines the biblical attitude to homosexuality. The World Congress of LGBT Jews: Keshet Ga'avah The World Congress of LGBT Jews: Keshet Ga'avah is an international grassroots organisation which seeks to represent the interests and concerns of Jewish LGBT people. They produce a bi-weekly e-newsletter and their website contains useful links and an interactive forum. Al-Fatiha Foundation The Al-Fatiha Foundation is an international network of organisations working with LGBT Muslims. Their website offers interesting and informative resources exploring issues around LGBT identity and Islam, as well as links to other websites. “Tackling Religious Hatred: Report of the Cross-Party Working Group on Religious Hatred” – Scottish Executive 2002 This Report sets out the conclusions of the Cross-Party Working Group on Possible Legislation to Tackle Religious Hatred in Scotland. It considers whether legislation is necessary or desirable, readily capable of enforcement and likely to lead to the reduction of sectarianism and other forms of religious hatred. The group has also considered whether there are other, more appropriate ways to tackle the issue of religious hatred and send a strong signal to the public that there is no place for bigotry in today's Scotland. “The Nature of Islamophobia” – Runnymede Trust This article is an extract from “Islamophobia – a challenge for us all”, and examines Islamophobia and how this prejudice manifests itself in the media and in society.
