"Challenging Disability Discrimination - A Guide to Services" - Disability Rights Commission This guide provides information about the roles and responsibilities of the Disability Rights Commission. "2004: What it means for you - A guide for disabled people" - Disability Rights Commission 2003 This guide outlines the changes to the Disability Discrimination Act that will be implemented in 2004. "She Dances to Different Drums - Research into disabled women's sexuality" - Kath Gillespie Sells Little research has been undertaken into disabled women's sexuality. What there is has been carried out largely by non- disabled professionals. It is not surprising then that disabled women's sexuality remains a controversial subject capable of provoking extreme reaction, misunderstanding and prejudice. "Baseline Study of Disability in Scotland" - Strathclyde Centre for Disability Research 2001 Following the establishment of the Disability Rights Commission and the re-establishment of the Scottish Parliament, this study will review policy, statsitics and research literature on the position of disabled people in Scotland. It will also consider policy and legislative changes which are necessary to extend the rights of disabled people in Scotland. "Disability and Civil Rights in the New Millennium - Public Lectures" - Strathclyde Centre for Disability Research (University of Glasgow) 2001 The lectures presented here were organised by the Strathclyde Centre for Disability Research and Glasgow City Council and took place between April 1999 and November 2000. "Standards for Disability Information and Advice Provision in Scotland" - SAIF Scotland 1999 Standards, produced to assist agencies in the voluntary, private and statutory sectors, to ensure that disabled people can access effective information and advice services. "Glasgow Disability Access Guide" - Glasgow Access Panel This guide has been developed by the Glasgow Access Panel, a voluntary group that comes together to discuss and raise awareness of access issues and to seek improvements to access in Glasgow.
