what is multiple discrimination?
Most of us don't belong to just one community. We have multi-faceted and complex identities.
The different aspects of our identity are a source of pride and strength.
However, they can also make us the target of prejudice on more than one level. For example, a Black gay man might experience homophobia from some parts of the Black community, racism from some parts of the LGBT community, and racism and homophobia from everyone else!
