Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender families are far from homogenous. They consist of men parenting alone; women parenting alone; men and women parenting together; lone parents; families with two mothers and two fathers; adoptive parents; biological parents; co-parents; mixtures of all of these and many more. There is no single face of LGBT families. There are now many more lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people choosing to parent than ever before.
