The persecution of LGB communities by the Nazis and during the Holocaust has all too often been written out of the history books. If we are to learn the lessons of the Holocaust we can no longer continue to ignore what happened to victims such as gay men, disabled people and Roma. And we must apply the lessons: the anti-Semitism, racism, homophobia and other forms of prejudice that enabled the Holocaust to take place were wrong then and are wrong now. About this section This section contains information about the Nazi persecution of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, Holocaust Memorial Day and useful resources.
