What the group does:

Strathclyde Lesbian and Gay Switchboard offers telephone (and where appropriate face to face) counselling, support and advice. The telephone are staffed by trained volunteer counsellors who are themselves lesbian, gay or bisexual. In addition they organise Icebreakers, a monthly social event for people new to the gay scene who are interested in meeting others in a friendly, welcoming and supportive environment with Switchboard counsellors on hand.
