Stonewall asks all employers submitting to the Workplace Equality Index to invite their staff to fill in a questionnaire giving feedback directly to Stonewall on their experiences working in that organisation. The feedback is worth five per cent of the overall marks in the assessment.
To do this, we ask that you promote the online questionnaire to all your staff. To participate, you will need to distribute the link to the questionnaire: www.stonewall.org.uk/wei2015/survey along with your organisation's unique three digit code. If you are unsure of your organisation’s code, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call the workplace team on 0207 593 1868.
Feedback submitted online will go directly to Stonewall and is completely anonymous. If you would like to distribute a paper copy for staff without access to the internet, you can download the questionnaire here.
Submissions to the Staff Feedback Questionnaire must be completed by 5pm on 15 November 2014.
For the first time, this year the questionnaire is open to straight/heterosexual as well as lesbian, gay and bisexual staff. In order to include any staff who are not ‘out’ within the organisation or are not members of an employee network group, we encourage organisations to advertise the questionnaire to all staff.
Below is a template for promoting the questionnaire to staff - please feel free to adapt it to suit your organisation’s in-house communications style as appropriate.
