Lesbian, gay and bisexual people make daily choices about coming out to colleagues and clients. Since the publication in 2008 of Peak Performance, Stonewall’s ground-breaking research into workplace productivity, progressive British employers increasingly understand that their LGB staff are more efficient, confident, creative and motivated when they feel able to be open about their sexual orientation.
This session explores how sexual orientation influences identity and relationships in the workplace. It also provides interesting insights into authenticity, career progression and performance.
Speakers at this session:
Caroline Ellis and Lorna Fulton, Stonewall
(Practical sessions are typically workshops involving faciliated activities and discussions around the main issues. They offer practical top tips for you to take away and implement in your organisation.)
