Religion and Sexual Orientation
Recent polling by YouGov for Stonewall revealed that four in five people of faith believe it is right to tackle prejudice against lesbian, gay and bisexual people. Instances of conflict between religion and sexual orientation in the workplace are rare, but many employers feel less confident preventing and responding to these than to other forms of discrimination. In this session we give you the opportunity to hear from four chaplains from health trusts and the university sector who will explore the modern role of chaplains in delivering services to the general public and how to manage potential and perceived conflicts.
