The Primary School Champions programme is heavily subsidised by Stonewall. For the cut-price membership fee of only £100 plus VAT, your school will receive the following benefits:
Benchmarking. We will compare your school’s current policies and practices with legal requirements and national best practice – and create a step-by-step action plan for your school to enable you to become a leader in the field.
Resources. You will receive an extensive pack of Stonewall’s acclaimed age appropriate “Different Families” primary school resources – so that your teachers and pupils are able to take advantage of our state-of-the-art learning aids. The resources you will receive will include training DVDs, education guides, posters, stickers and more.
Free education training seminars. School Champions members gain exclusive access to free, members-only education seminars on latest best practice and new resources. These seminars provide your staff with opportunities to learn from, and network with, their peers from around the country.
Expert advice. You will have a dedicated point of contact from within Stonewall’s expert education team. This individual will be responsible for giving your school personalised, tailored and responsive assistance. This Stonewall employee will be available to you for advice.
Training. Stonewall has accomplished education experts, who have trained thousands of educators on issues relating to homophobic language and bullying. Membership of School Champions will give your staff access to training and continuing professional development opportunities at a 50 percent discount. The discounted rate is only £150 + VAT for half a day and £250 + VAT for whole day.
School Champions logo. Raising awareness of the good work you’re undertaking among your parents and community is important – so as to increase buy-in and engagement. That’s why Stonewall grants its School Champions exclusive use of the School Champions logo for internal and external communications.
