School Champions: getting started

Welcome to Stonewall’s School Champions programme. On this page you will find all the information and resources you need to get you started with your work to prevent and tackle homophobic bullying and celebrate difference in your school.

Initial Needs Assessment

The first step is to complete the School Champions Initial Needs Assessment. This will help you to carry out an audit of the work you and your school are currently doing to prevent and tackle homophobic bullying, as well as identify areas you would like to focus on moving forward.

Once you have completed and returned this form to Stonewall your named point of contact will be in touch to arrange a time to go through your action plan with you and establish your key priorities for the coming year.

Action Plan

Using your Initial Needs Assessment, Stonewall will work with you to develop an action plan of next steps for you and your school.
