School Champs

Stonewall’s School Champions programme provides you with the support to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students including:
• Benchmarking your school’s current policies against legal requirements and national best practice – developing a step-by-step action plan for your school;
• Providing an extensive pack of Stonewall’s acclaimed age appropriate “Different Families” primary school resources, such as training DVDs, education guides, posters, lesson plans and stickers;
• Giving your staff access to training and continuing professional development opportunities – which School Champions members receive at a 50 per cent discount;
Designating a member of our expert education team as your dedicated point of contact – so your school can receive personalised, tailored and responsive assistance. Find out more about the scheme.

Celebrating Difference Books

Take a look at the wide range of books which include different families and are perfect for your classroom. These “alternative fairytales” help to introduce young people to the diversity of family life in a fun and age appropriate way.
