FIT, lesson plans

As a teacher, you know your students and how to get the best out of them. However, sometimes it can be helpful to get inspired by colleagues' work. The FIT resource pack, included with the DVD, contains lesson ideas for Key Stages 3 and 4. Below you will find a selection of lesson plans by teachers who have used FIT.

Financial services firm UBS and the Bridge Academy in Hackney have developed a template for a day-long workshop using FIT in secondary schools. The ‘drop-down day’ has been trialled with over 600 students over three years from Years 7-9 at The Bridge Academy. The ‘drop-down day’ was enhanced at the Bridge Academy by the involvement of UBS volunteers who took an active role in helping to facilitate the day.
