Anti-Homophobic Bullying Film Clip Competition

The competition provides a fantastic opportunity for young people to produce 3 minute film clips and get their message heard accross the country

Film Clip Competition 2010

The three shortlisted film clips were screened on the 28 March at the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival alongside the documentary Training Rules.

Judging panel: Gurinder Chadha (Director of Bend it like Beckham), Maureen Chadwick (Creator of Bad Girls, Footballer's Wives, Waterloo Road), and James (Stonewall Youth Volunteer)

  • Escape Homophobia (third winner)

 

 

Film Clip Competition 2009

Three shortlisted clips filmed on mobile phones were screened on 4 March at the London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival alongside the feature film Tru Loved.

Medium: mobile phone

Judging panel: Rikki Beadle-Blair (Director and writer),  Lisa Gornick (Director, writer and producer Tick Tock Lullaby, Do I love you?) and Ramona (Stonewall Youth Volunteer)

Shorlisted Clips 

  • Homophobia in Schools (winning film clip) by Clemency and Maddie, City of London Girls' School
  • Can I get their number? (second winner) by Antoinette and Riane and their friends, Lewisham College
  • No matter what the language (third winner) by Lucy and Carolyn, Stonewall Youth Volunteers
