Get involved with tackling homophobic language at work
Homophobic language is a problem in schools and workplaces across the country. There are lots of ways you can help us tackle this casual misuse of the word ‘gay’ in your workplace.
What you can do
- Order a Stonewall campaign pack to use in your workplace here! Each pack contains Stonewall posters, guides and stickers and costs just £5.
- Make a donation - just £5 allows us to send these resources to a secondary school, making sure hundreds of pupils know why it's wrong to say 'that's so gay'. Click here to make a donation or text GAY to 70500 to donate £5.
- Buy a t-shirt. Wear your brand new ‘Gay. Let’s Get The Meaning Straight’ t-shirt with pride! Help us reclaim the word ‘gay’ and show your support to young people.
- Get your colleagues together and raise awareness and funds for Stonewall during Anti-Bullying Week. Be as creative as you like or hold a bake sale! Sell some gay-themed cakes and donate the money to Stonewall.
