Britain's leading conference on preventing and tackling homophobic bullying and celebrating difference in education took place at the QE II Conference Centre on 4 July

The conference brought together hundreds of education professionals and over 150 young people to discuss tackling homophobic bullying and celebrating difference through a series of panel discussions and interactive workshops.

Highlights of the 2014 conference included:
  • Inspirational keynote speakers including politicians and key agencies
  • Launch of The Teachers' Report 2014, ground-breaking research into teachers' experiences of tackling homophobic bullying 
  • Practical workshops on topics including sport, online safety and mental health
  • First access to Stonewall's latest education guides and teaching materials, including our new interactive website for primary schools
  • The latest innovations and best practice on supporting gay students, tackling homophobic language and building an inclusive curriculum
  • Insights from leading schools, colleges, universities and local authorities on tackling homophobia and celebrating difference
