Stonewall works with hundreds of schools, local authorities, universities and education professionals across the country to help prevent homophobic bullying and celebrate difference in schools. Please see below for ways your organisation can receive a Stonewall visit.
At Stonewall we know the importance of visible role models, especially for lesbian, gay and bisexual young people. We work with volunteers from different backgrounds, with different jobs and life experiences who visit schools to talk about their experiences growing up as an LGB person.
These role model visits typically take the form of an assembly or workshop with students and are available exclusively for members of our School Champions programme. If your school is a School Champion and you would like to request a visit please click here.
If your school is currently not a School Champion and you would like to find out more about the programme or our one day Train the Trainer courses please click here.
If your college, university or organisation would like to book an education speaker for an upcoming event or training, please click here to fill in the request form. For these events we charge a fee and request that the speaker’s travel costs are covered. Please see here for terms and conditions.
Stonewall works with many ITT providers to train their trainee teachers to tackle homophobic bullying and homophobic language. If your organisation is an ITT provider interested in having Stonewall deliver training to your trainee teachers, please click here for more information.
