Stonewall research: Children of gay parents

In the next few months Stonewall, in conjunction with leading researchers in the field, will begin a project researching the day-to-day experiences of children aged 4 to 21 who have same-sex parents.

  • We would like to hear from you if
You have a child aged between 4 and 21 who you would be willing to ask if they would like to take part OR

  • You are a young adult aged between 18 and 21

Please email camara.chambers@stonewall.org.uk giving your name, email address (or telephone number if you’re not on email), your child’s name and age, and which town you live in.

We’d also like your permission that this information can be given to the researchers. They will only use it to contact you to send you detailed information about the study. If you or your child doesn’t want to take part at that stage then that will be it. Your details will not be kept.

We want to involve as many children and young people as possible however if too many people volunteer to take part we may not be able to include everyone at this stage.  We look forward to hearing from you.
