Communications Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and articulate individual to join Stonewall’s busy media team as a Communications Officer. Stonewall has a high media profile, so we’re looking for a proactive and intelligent PR or media professional who can help make sure our point of view is represented in the media whenever possible. The post will suit a commercially aware person with experience in planning and conducting social media activity, and a strong track record of working closely with journalists from all kinds of media to give excellent copy or quotes within tight deadlines and under pressure. This is a great opportunity for someone committed to Stonewall’s aims and objectives to help us make a real difference to Britain’s 3.7 million lesbian, gay and bisexual people. PA to the Chief Executive

Stonewall are looking for an experienced and talented individual for the position of PA to the Chief Executive. Supporting the Chief Executive is a critical role within the organisation. His PA needs to be as comfortable dealing with ministers or FTSE 100 Directors as with schoolteachers or individual supporters. He or she will be critically important to managing an extremely busy diary – including speeches, visits and media appearances - acting as both a conduit and a gatekeeper.
