We welcome the decision made by Tower Hamlets council to protect the heritage of The Joiners Arms, one of London’s most iconic lesbian, gay, bi and trans venues. Many of these are steeped in LGBT history and considered safe spaces by members of the community who may be discriminated against in other pubs, bars and clubs.
